Dear Liz and family -
I only just heard about your dad - I'm so sorry to have missed the visitation - as my brother said, when he showed up at our dad's (Richard) visitation wearing his Maple Leaf jersey, I just had to laugh - so fitting, considering their Habs/Leafs rivalry. Your dad was so kind - I always enjoyed exchanging a few words with him at church. He will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

take care,
Rita.

I want to extend our condolences to your family on the passing of Ted. He was a great friend to our father for many years at St Mary. I remember them showing up to church wearing there team jersey, my dad in Montreal & Ted in his Maple Leaf, depending on whose team had won the night before. My favorite memory will be of your dad showing up at Richards funeral and opening his jacket at the casket and showing him one last time his Maple Leaf jersey! This has created wonderful memory for our family. He will be missed.

To Ted's family, I wish to extend my sincere condolences. I enjoyed many chats with Ted these past few years when visiting my uncle and aunt in Oshawa, who I know enjoyed having Ted as their next door neighbour. Thank you, too, to Ted and Liz for encouraging me last summer when I was ill. I know you prayed for me. I keep the small image of St. Peregrine (Pelligrino) close by always. Thank you.
