It is with sadness that we learned at Simcoe St. Church on Sunday, that we had lost one of our long-time and most cherished members. Mr. & Mrs. Wilson sat behind me and my young son, when Jonathan started Sunday School, and we needed to sit near the front to go up when the children were called for their special time with the minister. The Wilson's were ever-so-welcoming to a shy little boy and made him feel more comfortable there, every Sunday. Remembering also, going to Wilson and Lee with my parents. Ed made us feel welcome there, too. It continues to be one of the best stores in Oshawa! His legacy is important to our City and our Church. In recent years Ed has not been able to attend; and has been very much missed; including at the seniors' lunches with Emily. He will never be forgotten. Extending Sympathy and caring thoughts at this time to his family. Sincerely, Janet Dowson
