Passed away peacefully with family by his side on September 27th, 2017 at Scarborough Grace Hospital in his 87th, year. Beloved husband of Julia for 65years. Cherished father of Mario and Theodore (Stella). Loving grandfather of Joseph, Kieran and George-Michael. George will be deeply missed by his extended family and friends. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, Oshawa (905-721-1234) on Sunday, October 1st, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at EVANGELISMOS TIS THEOTOKOU SAINTS NECTARIOS AND GERASIMOS GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH (399 Farewell Street, Oshawa) on Monday, October 2nd, at 11:00 a.m. Burial at Thornton Cemetery.
