Peacefully, at Hillsdale Estates, Oshawa, on Sunday, June 24th, 2012, in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Kathleen of Oshawa for 62 years. Loving father of Maureen Clarke, of Delta, B.C. and Brian (Anne) of Whitby. Cherished grandfather of Alissa, Gabrielle, Isobelle, Ryan, Evan and Kerry, great grandfather of Conner and Marin. George came to Canada with his parents in 1923 and was a Veteran of WWII, serving in the Royal Air Force from 1940 through 1945. George worked as a millwright it General Motors until his retirement. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, (905-721-1234) on Wednesday, June 27th, 10:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
