D’ASTOU, Gilbert Joseph Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday, January 23rd, 2019, at the age of 81. Predeceased by his wife Marie-Mai (nee Nadeau). Lovingly remembered by his children Bertrand Nadeau (Barbara), Diane Pedra (Fernando), Denise McLean, Guy D’astou, Nancy D’astou (Joe Azzorpardi), Paul D’astou and Linda D’astou. Beloved grandfather to Stephanie, Krystal, Cassandra, Joey, James, Justin, Austin, Danielle, Aidan and great grandfather to Spencer, Eden, Alex, Nico and Xavier. Sadly missed by his brothers Darius, Paul Emile and his sister Jeanette. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, January 31st from 6 – 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at L’ASSOMPTION DE NOTRE DAME, 384 Hillside Avenue, Oshawa on Friday, February 1st at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations to Lakeridge Health Foundation – Cancer Care would be appreciated.
