Gladys Fern Banks

Gladys Banks of Oshawa, Ontario passed away on Saturday, April 29th, 2017 at the Toronto Advent Valleyview Residence in her 102nd year. Gladys was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (DeMerchant) Kinney of Bath, New Brunswick. Gladys is survived by her daughters Joan Grierson (Glen), Linda Banks, Corinne Banks and her son Gary Banks (Marilyn), four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, her sister Maxine (Kinney, Giberson) Bushby of Bath, New Brunswick, her brother MGen. (Ret) Clifton (Lorraine) Kinney of Ottawa, Ontario and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Garnet MacIntosh Banks, and her sister Mary and brothers Basil and Milford. Her Church was her life, she was a woman of profound faith, beloved by many, respected by all and will be sorely missed. A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor to be announced at a later date.
