It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our loving mother, Gladys with family by her side on Friday, August 1st, 2014 in her 88th year. Predeceased by daughter Carol Anne, and grandson Peter Dale. Beloved wife of Kenneth Richards of 50 years. Loving mother of Cheryl Wilson (Don), James, Cyndi-Leah Hansen (Lars), Rick and Todd. Cherished grandma of Aleah, Ryan, Brad, David, Adale, Travys, Gwen, Lisa, Jayson, Nicole, Shannon, Asta, Dayne, Marianne, Damien, Ryder and great grandmother of Rylee, Alice and Autumn. Dear sister of Jean Marchant and predeceased by her brother Doug Layton. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, (905-721-1234) on Tuesday, August 5th from 12:00 noon until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Thornton Cemetery.
