Glenn James Hall

April 13, 1953 – February 6, 2016

After a courageous battle with GIST cancer for 8 years, Glenn is now at peace. He passed away in his 63rd year February 6, 2016 with his wife of 40 years Florence and his 2 sons, Shaun and Michael by his side at home. He was the proud Pa Pa of Emily and James and will be sadly missed by their mother Heather. He leaves behind his brothers and sisters Randy (Peggy), Gayle, Guy (Sharon), Bruce (Lisa), Debbie (Bud) and his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mark (Annette), Barb (Bob), many nieces and nephews and many, many friends he considered family.

Glenn was a GM employee for 36 years and Past Vice-President of the former Oshawa Legion baseball where he gave his time and coached his sons and umpired for many years. I would like to thank all the support received through CCAC and a special thanks to his nurse Kari who is a treasure and all the friends and family for their help with meals and visits or calls. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Sunday, February 21st from 10:00 a.m. until time of Celebration of Glenn’s Life in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations will be gratefully accepted to the Lakeridge Health – Cancer Care or Mount Sinai Hospital in his name.
