Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on December 16th, 2016 after a brief illness at the age of 72. Predeceased by her parents Eileen and John Bernard and by her sister Ann Babich. Meme is survived by her brother John and by brother-in-law Bill, as well as by nieces Shelly and Cindy, great niece Alaina, great nephews Austin, Travis, Jordan and Ryan and cousins Dianne and Laurie. She will also be missed by her close friends Sharon, Dave and Margo as well as by many other friends and relatives. Meme will be forever remembered for her love of the Montreal Canadiens and her great sense of humour.
