WWII Veteran R.A.F., Longtime employee of Quindar and avid gardener. Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday, April 5th, 2015, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Janet (2010). Loving father of Alan (predeceased), Ian (Darlene) and Stephen (Lorraine). Grampa of Christine, Brett, Andrea, Devon, Lynn, Corey and Laura. Great grandfather of Rylee, Lauren, Lorelei, Liam, Torrance and Emma. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday April 9th at 12:00 noon until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
