So very sorry to learn of Hugh's passing. For a short time, he was a member of our OSCC singing group when we were just starting up in 2012. Hugh was a wonderful singer and a valuable member of our group. He was kind, personable and always a perfect gentleman. His talent and smile will be missed by many.

I knew Hugh from the O.S.C.C., the Legion and most of all...Friday Night "Karaoke". My favourite song that he sang was "The Old Lamp-Lighter" by the Browns. Hugh sang it with such heart. He loved to sing and dance. He was such a talented man. He and a couple of his friends formed their own band. Hugh always had a smile and a good word about others. Hugh was such a friendly man and never shied away from giving out compliments. I am sorry to hear of his passing. He will be missed by many. Sleep well my friend.

I had the privilege of singing and entertaining with Hugh, over the last nine years at various venues. What a wonderful man! He always loved entertaining the seniors and our military. The heavenly band just got a lot better.

We feel privileged to have made Hugh's acquaintance - (over Friday night Fish'n'Chips at the Legion!)- and to have chatted with such a kind, fun-loving gentleman. We'll miss watching Hugh dance so gracefully at Friday night Karaoke when it starts again.

I certainly enjoyed being Hughs friend at Branch 43 Legion a very lovely man. He provided entertainment for our veterans when ever asked and never let us down. Hugh will be missed and my condolences to his friend Dorothy, a lovely lady. Hopefully we can have a celebration of life at the Branch when we get back open and back to some normalcy. God bless you Hugh, R.I.P. my friend.
