NOVAK, Ivan October 30, 1927 ~ June 13, 2018 With great sadness, the family announces the passing of Ivan Novak on June 13th, 2018 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 90. Cherished husband to Marija of 51 years. Loving father to John, Anne (predeceased) (Milivoj), Mary (Branko) and Darlene (Ray). Cherished Grandfather (Dido) to Andrea (John), Chris, Gordie (Marina), Paul, Suzanne (Michael), Angela (Victor), Katie, Melissa, Kristina and Danielle. Great-grandfather (Dido) to Lidija, Antonio, Juliana, Mateo, Maria, Catherine and Peter. Brother to Kate of Slovenia. Predeceased by his first wife Frances and sister Ane. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Tuesday, June 19th from 3 – 5 and 7 – 9 p.m. with prayers at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at ST. MARY OF THE PEOPLE CATHOLIC CHURCH (570 Marion Ave., Oshawa) on Wednesday, June 20th at 10:00 a.m. Followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial donations to a charity of your choice will be greatly appreciated.
