Peacefully at home with family by his side after a lengthy battle with cancer on Sunday, April 3rd, 2011 in his 62nd year. Beloved husband of Violet (nee Root). Loving father of Helaina. Cherished grandpa of Emmett Jack. Dear brother of Susan MacKinnon (David). Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, and friends, especially Ian, Allison, Sam and Kelly.
