We are saddened to announce the death of James Grant Ferjo with his family by his side on July 30th, 2017. Dear husband of Bette for 51 years. Loving father of Lisa Thornton (Michael) and Michael Ferjo (Carolyn). Beloved grandfather to Dryden, Hannah, Danielle and Ethan Ferjo and Annika and Klara Thornton. Survived by his sister Dianne Cummings of Ottawa, brother-in-law Louis Corcoran of New Brunswick and Jim Corcoran (Kathleen) of Toronto. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by four sisters and one brother and his grandson Dawson. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, (905-721-1234) on Wednesday, August 2nd, from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, August 3rd at 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations to the Ronald McDonald House or The Children’s Wish Foundation would be appreciated.
