Beloved wife of the late Ronald LaMarche. Cherished mother of Jennifer (Roque), Bridget, and Tim (Teresa). Proud grandmother of Ariana, Gabriel, Amelia, and Frances. Loving sister of John Rogers (Chris). Dear daughter of the late Margaret and Sid Rogers.
Born in England, she crossed the ocean to build a beautiful life in Canada, where she met the love of her life. Together, they eventually settled in Fenelon Falls, raising their family and creating a home filled with love.
Janet was deeply dedicated to the church and rooted herself in the local community with grace and devotion, a life long learner with an inspiring work ethic, she balanced working as an administrator while returning to school later in life to earn her first class honors ARCT teachers certificate from the Royal Conservatory of Music.
She taught piano for many years, sharing her love of music with countless students. Her knowledge and dedication led her to become a Royal Conservatory examiner, a role that took her across Canada and the United States. She also served in senior leadership positions with the Ontario Registered Music Teachers' Association, where she contributed to the music teaching community throughout her career..
Despite her busy professional life, her favorite moments were the simple, grounded ones. She cherished spending her free time swimming and canoeing at High Falls in Muskoka, where she found peace and happiness in nature. She also delighted in caring for her cherished grandchildren, who brought immense joy, love, and laughter to her world.
Janet leaves behind a legacy of music, faith and profound love. She will be deeply missed and remain in our hearts forever.
Rejoice !!!!The angels have lifted her to join her beloved husband in the heavenly kingdom of God.
Bless you Nana ❤️
