Passed away peacefully at Thorntonview Long Term Care on April 8th, 2016 at the age of 72 years. Beloved husband of Shirley (nee Haley). Loving father to Gary (Sandi), Brian (Tracy) and Susan (Dave). Brother to Louis, Betty and George (Alida). Predeceased by twin brother Joseph. Fun loving Grampy and Papa to Beth, Danny, Reagan, Jack and Georgia. Will be sadly missed by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and many friends. Was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. The family would like to express many thanks for the care received at Strathaven and Thorntonview Long Term Care. A Memorial Service will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Wednesday, April 13th at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations can made to the Alzheimers Society or charity of your choice.
