It is with profound sadness that we share the news of John McBride, aged 55, passing away suddenly and unexpectedly on Wednesday February 26, 2025. A cherished father, son, brother and friend who was deeply loved by all who knew him. His passions for cooking, live concerts, sports and technology were defining aspects of his life and he enjoyed sharing his these with everyone around him.
We will always remember his kind heart, caring ways and his love for family.
John's legacy lives on through his family: Paige Pelrine (daughter) and her partner Taylor Hirschmugl, Isabelle Long (mother) and Wayne McBride (father), Pamela Shewchuk (sister) and her husband Rob along with their children Benjamin and Carson as well as Tracey and Sean Young (lifetime friend). He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
A visitation for John will be held at the Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King Street West, on Friday, March 7, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.
