Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Friday, September 30, 2016 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late George (1996). Very dear friend of Tony van der Cruysen. Loving mom of David (Joan), Dennis (predeceased 2014), Nancy Gibson (Andy), Rodney (Jane) and Janet Culbert (Doug). Proud Grandma of Joanne, Brenda, Sherry, Brian, Rachel and Taylor and 11 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by brothers and sisters Fern, Gordon, Irene and Ivan. Special thanks to PSW’s from Paramed, namely Olivia and Debbie and the Supportive Care Unit at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for their care and compassion. A Memorial Service will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, (905-721-1234) on Thursday, October 6th, 2016 with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations to Heart and Stoke would be appreciated.
