Kaylyn Elizabeth Christopher

October 8th, 2007 ~ January 27th, 2014

With extreme sadness and broken hearts we announce the passing of our sweet angel, Kaylyn Elizabeth Christopher. Kaylyn passed away peacefully in her sleep. She will forever be missed, loved and remembered for the joy and peace she brought to everyone who met her. From her family and friends to all the staff at Grandview Children’s Centre and SickKids Hospital, who became more like family than anything else. The way that they cared for and treated Kaylyn was a direct reflection of how Kay made them feel, she brought smiles and laughter. There is not one person who got to really know and be a part of Kaylyn’s life that isn’t a better person for having their heart touched by her. Her strength was evident, her will and courage came thru in all of her trips and stays at SickKids Hospital. She faced and beat every challenge that came her way. Kaylyn you are forever an inspiration and a piece of all our hearts is missing. Remembered by her parents Stacey and Shane, younger sister Zoe, Grammy, all her aunts and uncles, cousins, family and friends. And we believe she was received at heaven’s gate by her Grampy Junkin and Grandma. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, (905-721-1234) on Sunday, February 2nd, 2014 from 1 – 5 p.m. Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, February 3rd, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Donations to SickKids Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
