Passed away peacefully at Trenton Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, July 9th, 2014 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Trudy. Loving father of Jake (Rita), Cynthia (John Zwaagstra), Elizabeth (Rob Woudsma), Hilda (Gelf Vandergaast) and Jane Grace (predeceased). Lovingly remembered by 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Tettje, Anne, Rienk, Hennie, Loes, Riekele and predeceased by Harmen and Tine. A Memorial Service will be held at ZION CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH (409 Adelaide Avenue East, Oshawa) on Saturday, July 12th at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234).
