Peacefully passed away surrounded by his wife and his four girls at his home. After an 18 year journey surviving Lung Cancer he finally succumbed to his disease on Wednesday, September 11th, 2013, in his 83rd year. Beloved and devoted husband to Sophie for 55 years. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend to many, survived by his wife Sophie (nee Kryszak), daughters Donna Konoby (Michael), Anne Hilz (Robert), Nancy Boyden (Fred) and Dianne Zawisza (Christopher). Will be sadly missed by his brother Bruno (Donna), Kay Devera (Frank) and Joe Kryszak (Marjorie). His legacy will continue by his grandchildren Jaclyn, Jessie, Sarah, Joshua, Zachary, Jacob, Adam, Benjamin and Emily. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, September 13th, 2013 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at ST. THERESE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH (3800 Courtice Rd. N., Courtice) on Saturday, September 14th at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow at Thornton Crematorium. Special thank you to Dr. R. Moolla, Dr. M.
