Passed away at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Sunday, January 26th, 2014 in his 94th year. Loving husband of the late Marian. Cherished father of Suzanne and her husband Peter Robb. Dear grandpa of Darryl. Survived by his brother Stanley Weeks and his wife Lily. Will be missed by sister-in-law Carrie Shaw. The family would like to thank the staff at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville for their care and support. Leonard was a proud member of Sydenham Kiwanis, Whitby Lawn Bowling Club, St. Mary’s Knights of Columbus, St. Vincent de Paul Society and Monsignor Bench Assembly 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, Oshawa (905-721-1234) on Wednesday, January 29th, from 7 – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. MARY OF THE PEOPLE CATHOLIC CHURCH (570 Marion Ave., Oshawa) on Thursday, January 30th, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
