Letitia Vuscan

Letitia Vuscan, a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, daughter, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2026, at the age of 83. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the deep love she shared with her family and all who knew her. Born on September 5, 1942, in the beautiful village of Brăzești in Transylvania, Romania, Letitia was raised in a family deeply rooted in community values. Her father, a respected mill owner, was known as a pillar of the community—generous, hardworking, and widely appreciated. From an early age, Letitia was shaped by these qualities, carrying forward a legacy of compassion, dignity, and care for others. She devoted her life to her family and took great pride in nurturing those she loved. Letitia shared a devoted marriage with her late husband, Petru, who passed away in 2025. Together, they built a life centered on love, resilience, and family. A woman of remarkable strength, Letitia faced significant health challenges in her later years, enduring multiple strokes and surgeries with courage and determination. Through it all, she never gave up, inspiring those around her with her resilience and unwavering spirit. Letitia had a deep love for music and was known for singing beautiful Transylvanian folk songs and ballads, sharing her heritage and bringing joy to those around her. She was also a devoted caregiver to her family, playing an active and loving role in helping to raise her grandsons. Her generosity, patience, and selflessness left a lasting mark on their lives. She found joy in life’s simple moments and especially cherished time spent with her loved ones. Her warmth, wisdom, and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Mihai and Mihaela; their spouses, Cosmina and Ofir; and her five cherished grandsons, Patrick, Justin, Ryan, Marcus, and Angelo. She is also remembered by extended family and dear friends. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Petru.

Visitation will be held at the Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King Street West, Oshawa, Ontario, L1J2L4, on May 6, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

A funeral service will be held at the Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King Street West, Oshawa, Ontario, L1J2L4, on May 7, 2026, at 1:30 pm, where family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate her life.

Letitia Vuscan’s legacy is one of love, resilience, generosity, and quiet strength. She will be forever remembered and deeply missed.
