Margaret Laginski

Passed away on September 5th, 2010 in her 86th year, surrounded by family. Predeceased by her husband, Gerald. She will be sadly missed by her children, Anne Marie, Michael (Liz), Rhonda and Ronald, and grandchildren, Ryan (Fiona), Joshua (Courtney), Rebecca and Jared. Margaret’s childhood desire to be a member of the teaching profession was rewardingly realized in a teaching career which began in Calgary, Alberta and ended thirty-five years later in Waterloo, Ontario. Throughout those years she was dedicated to both the intellectual and spiritual development of the young people she taught. She was a kind and gentle woman, staunchly proud of her Irish heritage and deeply rooted in her faith. Devoted to her family, her children and grandchildren have many fond memories gathered around her at the family cottage on Golden Lake, a place which held a special place in her heart. Friends may call at ZUMMACH FUNERAL HOME, 11 Lake St., Killaloe, Ontario (613-757-2555) for visitation on Thursday, September 9th from 6 – 8 P.M. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 10th at ST. ANDREW’S CATHOLIC CHURCH (Queen St., Killaloe, Ontario) at 2:00 P.M. Interment St. Andrew’s Cemetery.
