Passed away peacefully at Fosterbrooke Long Term Care on February 17th, 2016 at the age of 91. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Elsie Salt and by her sister Marie Crawford (late Donald). Predeceased by her husband Jim Piggott (2013). Joyce leaves behind brother Frank Salt (Virginia) and many nieces and nephews and relatives from across the continent. Those who knew Joyce may remember that she studied Librarianship, worked as an editor for a Youth Magazine, coordinated church trips abroad. She enjoyed travel and had a great sense of adventure. Memorial Service will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, February 26th at 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations will be gratefully accepted to the ADRA (Adventist Development and Relief Agency).
