To Zia Maria, Erminia, Luigi, Giustina, and your families,
I cannot begin to describe the heartache I feel knowing that Zio Mario is gone. His absolute zest for life, his infectious laugh, his sudden bursting into song - all these things were the memories I will always have of him. He always made Mamma laugh, and that made me so happy! The only thing that I can say at this time is that having family with you, leaning on each other, and loving each other will be your strength and salvation. All my love, Maria (Fiorino) Tokarski

Our thoughts are with our Canadian family as you celebrate Mario's life.
Mario welcomed us into his family with open arms and a warm, loving smile. He was always the life of the party and we will remember him for his warmth, love, laughter, song and fiercely competitive bouche games.
Find comfort in your memories of Mario, a true gentleman who lived life to the fullest.
Lots of love to you all
Fiona, Brad, Luke, Thomas and Jacob xx

Dear Pedretti Family,

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mario. When I think of Mario what comes to mind is an energetic, smiling, loving man with a zest for life! He spoke his mind and had a great passion for life with a loving spirit. He was always very supportive and loving of his family.
I frequently reflect on how fortunate we were to grow up in such a special neighbourhood. Everyone watching out for one another, as well as reveling in each other’s milestones and setbacks. I remember childhood memories of skipping on the driveway with the girls or sitting on the front step with the sweet smell of espresso and Mario doing tricks with the soccer ball .
We shared many adventures all together with snowmobiling at the little house and many afternoons swimming in the backyard.
We truly have lost a special man, but when God calls us home, it is his will we must follow. I will pray for his family and miss him eternally!
Riposare in pace

I still remember those beautiful summer days playing outside and swimming in your pool. Your father is part of those memories. Always a smile when he saw you, pinching my cheek and telling me I was beautiful. I remember him teaching us how to play dominoes and giving me my first taste of expresso. Always a great neighbor to my family and others. I will always remember him with love. I'm very sad to here of his passing and will have you in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless
Diane
