Passed away peacefully with her family and friends by her side at Toronto General Hospital on Tuesday, September 20th, 2016 at the age of 54. Beloved wife and best friend of Mike for 26 years. Loving mom of Ben and Sam. Dear daughter of Muriel Burgess and the late Ron and sister of Ron Burgess. Special thanks to the staff at Princess Margaret Hospital, namely Dr. Lipton and the staff at Toronto General Hospital ICU for their care and compassion. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, (905-721-1234) on Monday, September 26th form 6 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 27th, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment at Groveside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Princess Margaret Hospital – One Match Stemcell and Marrow Network or charity of choice would be appreciated.
