It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Morris O’Reilly, who departed this earth peacefully on January 21st, 2026 at the age of 79.
Predeceased by his wife Judith Anne O’Reilly of 29 years. He will be dearly missed by his children Allen (Candice), Paula (Phil), Harry. Proud grandfather of Courtney (Matthew), Philip (Olivia), Kaitlyn (Nicole) and great grandfather to Finnley and Miles.
Morris was kind, loving and devoted to his family and a dear friend to many. He was an independent, classy and strong man with a clever sense of humour. Morris had a long successful career and a friend and mentor to many. He also had a zest for politics, a passion for travel and golf.
His love and laughter will live on in our hearts forever.
Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME 847 King Street West on Tuesday January 27. 2026 from 4pm to 8pm. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday January 28, 2026 at 10:30 am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. (1100 Mary St N, Oshawa).
In Lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
