Made a trip across Canada  (Vancouver to NS) in 2016 as a request from our granddaughter when she graduated.  Of course Cherry St in Timmins was on the list.  We were neighbours  and spent many hours playing our version of cricket in the back lane. Once we counted 6o kids on our street. Remember Eleanor and I being  in majorettes together. 
Sister Janet , Eila and sister-in-law Marion live in Peterborough. Allan and Marion had a summer place at Love Sick Lake. Many good memories!

Carol, my condolences to you and your family.  You may remember me from McDonnel Street Campus when we all gathered in the staff room for coffee and fun with staff. Our deepest sympathies on the passing of a friend and fellow basketball referee.  Peter was a life-time honorary member of the Peterborough Board of Approved Basketball Officials.   Rest in Peace Peter.

I worked with Peter for several years.  I will always remember him as a man of true character.  If there was ever a choice between the easy way and the right way, Peter unerringly chose the right way.  I will miss him!

Peter made an indelible impression on all whom he met, including me.   I will long remember the strike of 1984 and with Peter as a charming but right wing prez of the union and me as the left wing prez of the college, i remember fondly coaching him not to publicly  urge the Minister to order the union back to work   He was a great person with an infectious laugh and a deep commitment to the college and his many friends......

Nothing but good memories of Peter. I met him through basketball many years ago (he was a referee). Always thoughtful. Nice guy ... he will be missed.

So sorry to hear about Peter. When I was at the College as a student, Peter was the only one that could make the new math work for me!! Later as a colleague at the College, I had great respect for Peter and his dedication to education.

I taught with Peter for many years and considered him not only a boss, confrere but most of all a friend.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Peter. He served his family and the faculty of Fleming as a union leader well. He also officiated basketball in the area and served as president of the Peterborough branch of the Approved Basketball Officials of Ontario. I always enjoyed being his partner on the floor!
