BAIRD, Rita Catherine (nee: Murphy) Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, November 14th, 2018 at Fairview Lodge, at the age of 95. Beloved wife for 71 years of the late Bruce. Devoted mother of Bruce, Doug and Lorraine (Mike). Cherished grandmother of Shane, Craig, Marnie, Andrea, Kristin, Scott and Kent. Great grandmother of 12. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Monday, November 19th from 10:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Humane Society of Durham Region, Team Chelsea, or Simcoe Hall Settlement House would be appreciated.
