Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on August 22nd, 2014 at the age of 67. Loving wife of Ian for 34 years. Dear sister of Bernadette (Allan) Stolte and aunt of Laura of Edmonton, Alberta. She will be missed by her many good friends especially Marie, Cindy, Orla, and Nadia and also her childhood friend Antoinette of Edmonton. The family would like to thank the Lakeridge Health Cancer Centre, the 6th floor Palliative Care unit and Hearth Place for their care and support during this difficult time. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Monday, August 25th, from 7 – 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, August 26th from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hearth Place or Lakeridge Health Foundation – Palliative Care.
