I am sad to hear about Rob's passing as I only found out today Nov 7th . I met Rob a few years back as he used to come and hang out at The Pearson Pub where we shared laughs and watched our favorite sports teams. 

He always mentioned how much he cared for his family and his golf friends.

My greatest laugh with Rob is the day he put ketchup on his French Toast!

Rest in peace Rob.   It’s been many years but I remember lots of fun working together at the Keg.

I really enjoyed working with Rob at The Keg in the 90’s, he had a great sense of humour, was kind and had everyone’s back, great human and gone too soon, my condolences to Rob’s family and circle of friends. 🙏

A legend at the Oshawa Keg! Godfrey made working fun, always joking and making everyone laugh. We all have fond memories of working with you and we didn't know then but they were the good old days! I will miss our chats after work sitting at the bar and the random late night phone calls where you showed your personal side. Rest in peace my friend you had an impact on us all.

Dear Ann and Family,  please accept our heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your beloved son Robert.  I remember him as a young man. 
Thinking today of the days gone by when all our children were young,  remembering in friendship, the  many gatherings we had all those years ago. Those days we will remember forever.  Again Ann, thinking of you and your family this day.

Robert was the best big brother, we shared the same sense of humour. When I saw Rob at a bar talking to a girl..I would walk up & pretend to be an ex until he brought me a drink. Then he would tell me to F off. 🤣 Had to show my id a few times to convince the girl I was having a laugh. 🤣🤣
Robert's keg friends, will never forget every time walking in. "You're definitely a Godfrey". He had great times with all of you. X 
Unfortunately I won't make it home from Scotland, however I know he will be well looked after. Rest in peace "Roberto" gran Godfrey used to call him that. X

Even though not brothers by blood, you certainly were that to me and such a great friend.

Far too many cherished moments and great memories spent with you over the years to choose just one but will definitely remember every one of them forever. 

Your big heart, kindness to all, unique sense of humor and unwavering love and friendship for those who knew you best will be missed dearly.

Our last visit to Canada and the kids got him back with giving him some joke sweeties!!! He was always game for a laugh. 💙

So sad to hear this, my condolences to Rob's family and friends. 

He was definitely an OG at the Oshawa Keg. There are so many great stories and memories to reflect on. He was the life of the party, but more so, he was just a genuinely great guy. You will be missed. Rest in peace brother!

A Rob Godfrey original that remains in my head years after my last shift at the Keg. 

He was a funny and friendly guy who never ceased to entertain me and always lit up the room. My condolences to Rob's friends and family, he will be sorely missed but always remembered.

This photo is from our wedding in 1989 when Robert came across to Scotland and of course in his kilt he made it into the "official" wedding photographs. It was so great that he was also there for the Stag night which was so memorable.
