Passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday, March 11th, 2014, at the age of 82. Loving father of Denise and her husband Scott Burns, and Diane and her husband George Simpson. Cherished grandfather of Andrea and her husband Scott Love, Robert Burns and his fiancée Natalie Simms, James Simpson and Taylor Simpson. Dear great grandfather of Michael Love, Luke Love and Rachael Love. Survived by his sister Marie and her husband Ross James and sister-in-laws April and Bev, and brother -in-law Dale. Will be missed by extended family and friends. Family would like to thank the staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa and Sunnybrook Health Science Centre. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Sunday, March 16th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, March 17th at 12:30 a.m. Interment Mount Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
