TALBOT, Robert (Bob) George - It is with heavy hearts that the family of "Bob" Talbot announce his passing at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday December 27th, 2016 at the age of 80. Dearly beloved husband of Olga for 54 years. Cherished father to Colleen (Chris), Kelly (Paul) and Shawn (Marielle). Proud grandfather to Stephanie, Michael, Jeffrey, James, Patrick, Matthew, Mary, John, Jacob and Claire whom he loved dearly. He will be sadly missed by his 9 great grandchildren, Nathan, Rachel, Natalie, Carter, Emma, Hannah, Connor, Myla and Alaya. Fondly remember by his brother Bruce and nieces and nephews. Reunited with his parents Albert and Eva and his brother Wayne. Bob also leaves behind many kind and generous neighbours and friends including his fellow campers at Trailer Park on the Bay in Coboconk ON. It is with deep gratitude that the family would also like to thank the St. Elizabeth nursing care team, especially Jason, Tasha and "Sargent Major" who all genuinely cared for Bob's physical and emotional health and well-being during his illness with their kindness and compassion. You were a blessing and a great source of happiness that he eagerly awaited each day. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, December 30th from 5:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 6:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations will be gratefully accepted to Conant Place (Oshawa Senior Citizens Centre) Adult Day Program.
