Ronald Paul Guiltinan

Peacefully at Lakeridge Health – Oshawa on Tuesday, May 17th, 2011,

Ron Guiltinan, in his 69th year, beloved son of the late John and Eileen Guiltinan. Fondly remembered by his cousins; Bunty Swanson, Erin Nightingale, Megan Umer and Christopher Guiltinan. Born in Oshawa and a lifelong resident, Ron was retired from General Motors having worked in the Truck Plant Office. He had a passion for sports and was an active member of the Oshawa Tennis Club. His real gift was to the youth of Oshawa, serving over 41 years on the NASC Sports Committee. Friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, Oshawa (905-721-1234) for visitation on Saturday, May 21st from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11a.m. followed by interment at Mount Lawn Cemetery. Following the Interment Ron’s family and friends are invited to a reception hosted by the NASC Hockey Committee in Thornton - Dundee Clubhouse situated at the corner of Thornton Road North and Adelaide Avenue, Oshawa. Memorial Donations in Ron’s memory to the NASC Hockey Player Assistance Program would be appreciated.
