Dear Karen,

I'm very sorry to hear about your mom.  We were just getting ready to leave for Myrtle Beach, when Judy called me with the news.  I'm just glad that Judy and I got up to Wynfield to have a visit with her.  I also enjoyed the many luncheons that you brought your mom to, with the roller skating bunch.............Bonnie McNaughton

Hard to believe Ruthie is gone. So many good memories. Every time I see violets...I think of her. I'll miss our phone natters that never missed ending with her saying..."Still love ya, y'know"... she always told Lyns... " I say a prayer every night for you and your mom". Ruthie never failed to make me laugh when she would imitate Granny McMullan..." Aah Elvis, it's me knees y'know"...LOL! Granny and her accent could never quite wrap around pronouncing my name...apparently "Elvis" did indeed live on in my name, and Ruthie did the imitation SO well...LOL! :o)
I can see them all now...Andy, Ruthie, Granny, Jackie, Jnr and Bernice, Snow and June, Dorothy and Lou, Shorty and Marie...Oh...and Uncle Jack, Rink & Gerry Bowler, Ted & Joan McComb, Ross & Doris Hodges, Bea...oh, too many to post here...but I bet they are all having a grand old get together.Lyns and I Loved her dearly...will miss her muchly...but with a smile...or six. :o)

Karen - we are so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother.  We had fully intended to visit with her but things here just kept coming up.  We did talk to Joyce last week & asked her if she could arrange a visit with her & ourselves, but that did not happen.  We just wanted to tell her how much we are enjoying her home.
