I was shocked to hear about Steve's passing through the IBEW newsletter. Steve and I worked together around 2002/2003. We were about the same age and were in similar stages of our careers, at the time so we bonded as young coworkers do.

I encountered him again more recently about three years ago just passing through on another project, I stopped and we chatted about how long it had been, joked about how we both had gained a little weight. It was great to reconnect, even if just for a 10min conversation. I always thought he was a good guy with an infectous smile.

My deepest condolences to his family.

Kit and I want to offer our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Steve. We were both very shocked to learn about his sudden passing. Steve was definitely one of the good guys when Kit and I were teaching at Birchmount. He was a very solid citizen at school and we know he will be missed. To Steve's family, our most sincere, heartfelt, condolences.
