GUNN, Sylvia Patricia It is with deep sadness the family of Sylvia Gunn announces her passing on Sunday, April 8th, 2018, in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Allan Roy Gunn. Predeceased by her parents, John and Kitty Copping. Loving Mother of David (Sandra), Linda Craig (Russell) and Robert (Adelle). Cherished Grandmother of Jeffrey Gunn (Saowakhon), Julie Rozsas (Frank), Jason Craig, Ashley Craig (Chad) and Landon Gunn. Dear Great Grandmother to Logan, Blake and Hailey Rozsas. Sister-in-law to Ken and Onda Gunn (both deceased) and aunt to Janyce and Paul Gunn. Many thanks to the staff on the 3rd floor, Willow Way at Hillsdale Estates, Oshawa for their compassionate care and support. Funeral Service will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, April 13th at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Durham, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated.

Dear Julie and Jeff, I am so sorry to hear about your grandma’s passing. You were so lucky to have had her in your life for so many years. I know she must have been so very proud of you and the wonderful , acccomplished adults you became. Having great grandchildren must have been a special joy. Hang on to those great memories.

She lead a long and happy life, and will be fondly remembered for bringing much joy and laughter to family and friends on those occasions when we got together to celebrate, of which there were many over the years.
