It is with great sorrow that the Mason family announces the passing of Ted on March 2nd, 2019 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Loving husband to Denise for 33 years. Loving and supportive brother of Marg (John), Anne, Michael (Diana) and Jane (Marek). Beloved uncle to his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Joe and Marilou Mason. Many thanks to Denise’s work family at the Durham Regional Cancer Centre. To honour Ted’s spirit the family will be wearing denim, please feel free to join us. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, March 8th from 1:00 p.m. until time of Celebration of Life in the Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated in memory of Ted.

Ted was my daughter c harlene next door neighbor,we met 6/7 years ago and both been seniors we shared stories from sports /politics and automoblies.he had a passion for cars an owned antique autos.he liked to keep busy an had hobbies including repairing a lawn tractor ,his property was was always highly maintained,after visiting my wife and I drove home knowing that our daughter /husband and three young kids were so lucky to have Denise and Ted for neighbors.we send our love and deepest sympathy

Ted was a fantastic customer. We always enjoyed him when he came by the Home Hardware store on Taunton Rd. In Oshawa.

Awe Teddy, you will always be my lively and funny little 3 year old nephew who braved several streets of Collingwood on his tricycle to make a lone, spontaneous visit to his Grandma's house....No, you forgot to tell your Mom that you were off on a trip!!! Much love from your Seattle Family....
