Teresina Maiorano

Passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Thursday, August 18th, 2011 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 92. Loving mother of Franca, Dominic (Jean), Mario (Angela). Cherished Nanna of Joseph, Anthony, Aldo and Michael. Adored Great Nanna of Kristen and Kylie. Teresina will be missed by her sister-in-laws, friends and other family members. Teresina will be remembered for her love of family, her love of life and her love of gardening. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the caring nursing staff of the 4th and 6th floor of Lakeridge Health Oshawa for their care and compassion. A special thanks to Dr. Barrettara for his continued dedication. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Sunday, August 21st from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. GREGORY THE GREAT CATHOLIC CHURCH (194 Simcoe St. N., Oshawa) on Monday, August 22nd at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Donations for the Durham Regional Cancer Centre or SickKids Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
