Vincenzo Michele Romano

It is with great sadness, after a short illness, his family announces Vincenzo’s passing at the age of 83, at home surrounded by his loving family. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Lucia Ricciuto of 50 years and only son Mario Romano. Vincenzo will be deeply missed by his daughter Rita and daughter-in-law Susan. He was a devoted grandfather to his grandchildren Wayne Litherland, Tara Litherland, Claudia Romano, Marco Romano and Carly McDonell who loved him deeply. He will be missed by his extended family and many friends. The family would like to extend their gratitude for the excellent care received by his healthcare professionals and the support of his extended family. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Sunday, May 31st from 3 – 5 and 7 – 9 p.m. Prayers will be held in the funeral home at 3:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. MARY OF THE PEOPLE CATHOLIC CHURCH (570 Marion Ave., Oshawa) on Monday, June 1st at 11:00 a.m. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
