Antonia Marie McCune

Antonia Marie McCune, 80, of rural Markle, formerly of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at her home. Antonia was born July 10, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York, daughter to the late Salvatore P. and Marianna Filiberto. She was a member of St. Mark's Church and worked as a homemaker, caring for her home and family. Antonia is survived by her husband, Dwight L. McCune; children, Donald W. (Amy) Pyatt, Sheryl (Matt Jenkins) Pyatt, Kristi Pyatt, and Jeff R. Pyatt; grandchildren, Logan Pyatt, Samantha Pyatt, Max Pyatt, Chloe Pyatt, Madison Pyatt, and Aja Jenkins; three step-grandchildren; and one great grandson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her previous husband, Robert D. Pyatt in 1999; and three brothers. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at 11:00 am at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill Street, Ossian, Indiana 46777 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation for Antonia will also be held Monday, August 21, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date at Marion National Cemetery.
