Clarence "Jim" Duane Fate, 77, of Coldwater, Michigan, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022. Jim was born September 1, 1944 in Bluffton, Indiana, son to the late Boston Junior and Martha (Blair) Fate. He worked for many years in the trucking industry. Jim enjoyed many activities in life. Fishing and woodworking were a few of his favorites. Surviving him are his beloved fiancé, Denise "Jody" Conners; son, Robert A. Fate and Rhonda of Bluffton; daughter, Deborah (Kevin) Rynerson of Daleville, IN; siblings, Michael Fate, Richard Fate, Roger Fate, Ronald Fate, and Joan Mahnensmith; grandchildren, Jamie Rose and Brooke Bailey; and great grandchildren, Dixie Rose and Maddie Bailey.
