Delores Ann Morphew, 84, of Ossian passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021. She was born on March 16, 1937 in Wabash, a daughter of the late Paul and Eva (Knipp) Miller. She graduated from Noble Township High School in Wabash in 1955. She was the editor of the yearbook, and was active in singing and theatre, and in 4-H from 1951-1977. She retired in 1997 after 20 years in customer service at Ossian State Bank. She was a member and former secretary at the Ossian United Methodist Church. In her free time, she enjoyed baking for family and friends and sending out greeting cards. Surviving family include her children, Greg (Dawn) Morphew and Michele (Tom) Franke; sister, Linda Ridgeway; grandchildren, Kyle (Stephanie), Derek (Hailey), and Brock (Madison) Morphew, and Jack and Ava Franke; and great grandchildren, Melody, Jyler, Landon, Scarlett, and Cade Morphew. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband of 61 and a half years, Keith Morphew; and a brother, Richard Miller. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Ossian United Methodist Church, 201 West Mill St., Ossian with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill St., Ossian. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Ossian. Memorials may be made to the Ossian United Methodist Church or Summit City Chorus.
