

Jean Ann (Wolery) Partin was born on August 20, 1942, in Van Wert, Ohio, where she grew up before moving to Ossian, Indiana. She met and married Levi Partin of Middlesboro, Kentucky, on September 30, 1962, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and spent much of her life in Northeastern Indiana between Ossian, Yoder, and Roanoke. She retired from the Food Service Center for the Fort Wayne Community Schools, where she worked as a dietitian for 21 years. In her spare time, her favorite activities included playing bingo, solving a crossword puzzle or word search, playing a round of solitaire, or watching the Game Show Network. She loved her family, her friends, and the dogs that she had owned over the years.
Jean is survived by her children, Laura (Partin) Weaver (husband Craig) of Winchester, Indiana, Andy Partin (wife Mary, deceased) of Portland, Indiana, and Pete Partin (wife Melanie) of Roanoke, Indiana; her grandchildren by Laura - Nathan Moorefield, Justin Moorefield, and Alecia Moorefield, her grandchildren by Andy - Michael and Michelle, and her grandchildren by Pete - Ashley, Ariana, and Megan; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Levi Partin (2008); her parents, Pete Hernandez Cuellar (1995) of Lockhart, Texas and Lois Virginia Lee (Wolery) Cuellar (2003) of Van Wert, Ohio; and her sister, Phyllis (Wolery) Brummer.
Per Jean's request, there will only be a private family ceremony.
