Julia M. Carpenter, 94, of Uniondale, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013. She was born on September 4, 1918 in Wells County, IN to the late Raymond and Lorena (Douglas) Gardenour. She was a Cosmetic Consultant. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband of 52 years, Max E. Carpenter. Surviving to cherish her memory are daughter Jacqueline (Larry) Easley of Ossian and son Steven (Rita) Carpenter of Ft. Myers, Fl; grandchildren Chad Easley of Phenix City, AL and Eve Brooks of Ft. Myers, FL. A private celebration of her life will be held at a future date. Contributions may be given in her honor to Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home.
