Lora Maxine Crum

Lora “Maxine” Crum, 93, formerly of Uniondale passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2012. She was born on August 28, 1918 in Van Wert, OH to the late Grover C. and Lora “Lola” B. (Erhardt) Inman. She was the co-owner of Crum Paint Store and a member of the Uniondale United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time gardening, working with flowers, knitting, and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving family include her daughters, Linda Smith of Ossian and Rita Dailey of Auburn; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Betty Inman and Florence Crum; and son-in-law, Roger Allen. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband, Ardis Crum in 1999; daughter, Pam Allen; son-in-law, Lynn Dailey; sister-in-law, Westie Inman; and brother-in-law, Woody Crum.

A funeral service will be 10:00 am on Monday, January 23, 2012 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill St., Ossian with calling a half hour prior to services. Visitation will also be from 2-6 pm on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Horeb Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
