Margery L. Burkholder Cureton

Margery L. Cureton, 82, of Ossian, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2010 at her Home. She was born February 21, 1928 in Bluffton, OH and had worked for many companies including Harvester, St. Joseph Hospital, Robert Halls Clothing Store, Hyerlys Bakery, and State Farm Insurance. Mrs. Cureton was a member of Ossian United Methodist Church. She was as avid Komet Hockey fan and also enjoyed making cards. Surviving are her children, Steven M. Cureton, Ossian; Claudia S. (Gary) Houck, Roanoke; Mary Alice Cureton, Fort Wayne; Audrey K. (Michael) Merryman, Ossian; sister, Eunice M. Hines, Albany, IN; twin sister, Margaret L. Kiefer, Sun City, AZ; five grandchildren, Jennifer L. (Michael) Eichenauer, Victor R. Cureton, Emily S. (Craig) Alexander, Jonathon M. Merryman and Jennifer Ann Merryman; six great grandchildren, Claudia E. Eichenauer, Noah R. Huguenard, David M. Eichenauer, Kameron S. Walters, Grant E. Alexander and Hudson E. Alexander. Preceding Mrs. Cureton in death along with her parents, John B. and Olga M. (Kohler) Burkholder are her husband Edward E. Cureton in 2006; son, Gregory Cureton in 1977; daughter, Cheryl in 1987; son, Joseph in 1994; sisters, Mary S. McWilson, Alice M. Heinig, and Elizabeth Conrad; and brother Howard D. Burkholder. Services will be Thursday, March 25, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill Street, Ossian, IN. Visitation will be on Wednesday at the funeral home from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. Burial will be at Oak Lawn Cemetery, Ossian.
