Carol,
I am very sorry to hear that Robbie has passed away. I sincerely appreciate that I had the privilege to enjoy his company.

We spent most of two years together on Guam, he was a guy I could always depend upon. He was there with me through some very demanding times. Beyond his dedication to supporting the mission, Robbie was a pleasure to be around. He had a great sense of humor, intelligent and clever with words, he made a great conversationalist. Whether working together on airplanes, or over a beer at the beach, I just enjoyed his company.

Tom was a friend of my family, when I told them, my wife and sons expressed their sympathy as they remembered our good times with Robbie during our Guam tour.

My heart goes out to you and your family, may you find comfort in your times of sorrow by remembering the joys you shared together.

Your sweet eulogy expresses the qualities he will be remembered for. Wouldn’t life be great if the world were populated by more people like Robbie.

In Sorrow,
Joe and Donna Arnold
And sons, Paul and Dominic

Carol and family,

I am so sad to hear about Tom. He and I connected over our shared love of the WC-130 (and steam engines). Tom was the ultimate aircraft expert. I will miss his wit and his ability to understand any issue. He loved life, was a great friend and patriot, and we need more like him. His friends in the Air Weather Reconnaissance Association will miss him always. Wherever he is flying tonight, I wish him clear skies and a strong tail wind. Rest in Peace, Tom!
