

Denver was born Jan. 20th, 1944 in Prosser Washington to Edward and Leona (Ebbr) Krause. His family moved frequently, settling in Othello in 1956. Denver attended school in Othello until 8th grade when he, like his brothers before him, left school in favor of work to help provide for a large family. He grew up with seven brothers and four sisters. Later he returned to get his GED. Denver enlisted with the U.S. Army in 1961. He was stationed in Germany for most of his term of service. Denver’s primary occupation was working in the tire industry. He worked in Spokane from 1968 returning to Othello in 1974. He found work at Basin Tire Company and stayed there right up until it became Commercial Tire. Denver enjoyed fishing and living a quite life.
Denver is survived by three brothers; Wayne Krause, Othello WA, Roger (Helga) Krause, Othello WA, and Kenneth Krause, Moses Lake WA, and three sisters; Adri Delay, Royal City WA, Shirley (J.T.) Owens, Squa Valley CA, and Melva Marlin, Spokane WA.
Denver is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers; Homer, Denis, Jimmy, and Glen Krause, Glen died at birth, and one sister Mavis Krause.
A viewing will be held at Stevens Funeral Chapel August 24th, 2011 at 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A family prayer will be given by Pastor Rick Morison at 11:00 AM
